Gibson Technical School as they present “Holiday House\,” a festive community event that will showcase the school’s programs while bringing the local community together to celebrate the season. \nHoliday House is designed to engage community members of all ages in a fun\, festive atmosphere\, offering a variety of holiday themed activities and demonstrations. Attendees will have the chance to explore the school’s diverse programs\, watch hands-on demonstrations\, take part in educational stations\, and interactive displays. Some activities include: \n\nLocal fire departments decorating their trucks in festival holiday themes\nDirt track race teams showcasing their race cars\nHot cocoa and treats donated by Stewart’s Shops\nCookie making station\, hosted by our Culinary program\nA special “Schoolville” display\, a Who-ville inspired creation built by Questar III BOCES students\nA “Holidays Around the World” room\, where visitors can learn about holiday traditions from different cultures and countries\nAnd more!\n\nHoliday House is designed to give back to the community. Participation is encouraged with a suggested donation of $5\, though all are welcome to attend regardless of a monetary contribution. Donations will help offset the costs associated with SkillsUSA activities\, with half of the proceeds being directed to local fire departments.\, \nWe are currently seeking sponsors and community partners to make this event a success.
