Pre-K students learn about hibernation

Students in Questar III’s pre-kindergarten class based at Berlin Elementary School recently studied winter and hibernation themes. To learn more about hibernation, students worked together to construct a milk jug igloo cave. Teacher Erin Jenkins said students also worked on symmetrical mittens, scarves with pattern designs, and a blubber science experiment where students learned how an animal’s fat keeps them warm in the winter. Pre-K students are now learning different facts about penguins.
