On April 24, component school boards voted 21-1 to approve Questar III’s $4.2 million administrative budget for 2012-2013.
The total administrative budget for the 2012-2013 school year is $4,202,000, which is $83,947 more than the current year’s budget.
This budget supports the management, coordination and leadership provided by the BOCES board of education and central administration. This is the only portion of the BOCES budget that component school districts vote on each year.
School boards also elected Chris Foster (Averill Park CSD), Nancy Knabbe (Chatham CSD) and Paul Puccio (Schodack CSD) to three-year terms beginning July 1.
All component school districts are required by law to vote on the BOCES administrative budget on the same day.
