Questar III BOCES and PODS of the Capital District are joining together to create a collection site for needed supplies and materials for the residents of Long Beach, NY devastated by Super Storm Sandy (it is also the hometown of one of our colleagues).
Below is a list of needed items. We will be placing boxes in the Central Office foyer area for collections and will be happy to work with our schools to transport donations to the POD located in Schodack.
Questar III will be accepting donations from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. through Friday, November 9. It will also be open Sunday from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m., Monday from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. and Tuesday 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

We will also accept monetary donations and shop for items.
PODS of the Capital District has graciously agreed to transport the unit (which was donated at no charge) to Freeport, NY where a collection site has been established for distribution of goods to Long Beach residents.
