The Questar III High School Invitational Art Exhibit began in 1989 as a way to encourage the development and exchange of arts programming for schools in the region.

The program was also designed to encourage student participation in our schools’ arts programming, to provide students with authentic feedback on their artistic endeavors and to promote strong, public support for the arts in our schools.

Over the years the exhibit was held at the Questar III offices in Castleton, the Marvin Library at Hudson Valley Community College and the WMHT studios in North Greenbush before moving to the Arts Center last year.

The juror for this year’s exhibition is Jean Dahlgren, chair of the Art + Design Department at the Sage College of Albany.

Winners of this year’s exhibit will be announced at the opening reception at 6 p.m.
