Donald Kline, who served on the Questar III BOCES board from 1975 to 2013, passed away on April 24. Kline, along with his board colleagues, was instrumental in shaping the current organization and its reputation as a regional and statewide leader.
For nearly 40 years he helped guide the BOCES through numerous initiatives and milestones, including the merger of Rensselaer & Columbia BOCES with Greene County BOCES in 1977, addition and renovation of the two ed. centers in Hudson and Troy, adoption of the name Questar III in 1994, and expansion of programs and services to help meet the evolving needs of students and school districts.
Calling hours will be held from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday May 1, 2015 at the Yadack-Fox Funeral Home of Germantown. Services will be held 10 a.m. Saturday May 2, 2015 at the Reformed Church of Germantown. Interment will follow in the Valley View Cemetery in Germantown.
