On April 19, component school districts’ boards of education unanimously approved Questar III’s proposed $5.8 million administrative budget for the 2016-2017 school year. This is the only portion of the budget that Questar III’s 22 component school boards vote on each year.
Component boards also voted to fill four BOCES board of education positions.
BOCES board members Edmund Brooks (Ichabod Crane CSD) and Lynn Clum (Germantown CSD) were reelected to three-year terms starting July 1. Brooks has served on the Questar III board since 2005. Clum was first elected in 2013.
Additionally, Nadine Gazzola (Taconic Hills CSD) and Mary Marro-Giroux (Troy CSD) were elected to three-year terms starting July 1.
