Two students at George Washington School choose gifts for their loved ones last year.
Again this year, the Questar III Special Education department is looking for donations of new or slightly used items for students to pick out and give as gifts to those they care about.
The annual “Gift it Forward” campaign allows students to experience the joy of holiday shopping and gift giving for someone they love and appreciate.
At each of our Special Education program sites, students have the opportunity in mid-December to go “shopping” at school for gifts for friends and family. Items generally include: children’s toys and stuffed animals, decorative items, knick-knacks and jewelry. Items for males are greatly appreciated as these items are sometimes in short supply.
Also appreciated are donations of wrapping paper, gift bags, bows and tags. Please send or drop off items to one of our sites or the Central Office by Friday, December 9th. For more information, please contact the Special Education Department at 479-6849.
