SED recently released information on the application process for school districts to apply for $1.2 billion in Federal CARES Act funding. This funding is the same funding noted on the 2020-21 Budget Run SA202-1 on the line titled “Federal CARES Restoration”. Eligible school districts are asked to submit a single CARES Act Combined Funding Application for both ESSER and, if applicable, GEER, funding using the online SED Monitoring and Vendor Reporting System. Completed applications are due by August 15, 2020; however, extensions will be granted by request. Applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis.
