Medicaid – Notification to Providers Regarding Certified Public Expenditure

Last week, SED sent a message to districts where providers will share 13.05% of the net CPE cost settlement. Gainsharing payments have recently been processed for 2018-19 and 2019-20 school years. Those SSHP providers eligible for gainsharing received their share of the 13.05% around March 29, 2023. The lump sum payments are identified by financial reason code GSH on Medicaid Remittance Advice reports. It should be recorded as Medicaid revenue – A4601.
