In March 2023 new security procedures were put in place that will affect how districts report their W-2/W-3 filings at the end of January 2024 for the 2023 calendar year. Several training sessions by Social Security staff have been held and the materials are available here. The process to sign up for proper credentials is involved and requires providing significant personal information. We encourage you to make sure that someone in your district has the proper credentials to submit these important documents this month.
