The STAC Unit has mailed two detailed Private (PRI) and Public (PUB) backup reports to review against your current year PUB and PRI output reports. Click here to view a sample copy of the mailing. These reports list the 2016-17 enrollment year STAC Approvals used to generate 2017-18 aid.
The Business Office should go to SAMS and select the “snapshot” option and access the “December 4, 2017 STAC Update” and print the 2017-18 PUB and PRI output reports. The Aidable Excess Cost totals on 2017-18 PRI Line 12 and PUB Line 7 from the snapshot should match or be close to the Aidable Excess Cost district totals listed on your district report which was run on 12/6/17. The report linked above is helpful because it lists the students within each educational provider, FTE and Annualized cost, as well as the current year Aidable Excess Cost at the child, provider and district level.
Districts should be receiving the BOCES year-end billing summary reports and you will use the report this spring to verify all the 2016-17 public placements via the DVPUB screen in the STAC online system.
