Questar III’s Rensselaer Educational Center (REC) and Columbia-Greene Educational Center (CGEC) each hosted their 9th annual Veterans Day Luncheon to celebrate and honor our local veterans for their service to our country.
Area veterans, along with a guest, were invited to the complimentary lunch, held at both the Hudson and Troy locations.
REC Principal Anthony Defazio thanked the veterans for their service before the meal was served.
“I would like to start by saying how honored we are to serve each and every one of you a special luncheon. It is one of our favorite events and it brings a lot of joy to the building,” he said.
CGEC Principal Heather Lansing adds, “We appreciate our veterans and realize that their personal service and sacrifice preserves our freedom and makes America a better place to live. The Culinary Arts and Introduction to Food Services students served a wonderful meal, as an expression of our gratitude to our veterans, for their service. ”
