Students in other career-tech programs are also participating in internships, according to Mills. Hotel and Lodging students are working onsite at the Century House, Ramada Plaza and Albany Hilton Gardens. Eight students from the Cosmetology program have been placed at various salons. Additionally, AIT students are using their technology skills at different locations.
WBL is a collaboration between Questar III and employers that provide students with structured work-related learning experiences. These activities include internships, job shadowing and classroom speakers.
