Rensselaer Academy students give back

Students from Questar III’s Rensselaer Academy collected 80 mittens for the Albany Rescue Mission as part of a recent service learning project. Students dropped off the mittens during a tour of the facility on Feb. 11. Pictured is Teresa-Adalian-Gibson’s class with Susan Strickland and Tau Bauda from the Albany Rescue Mission. During the month of March, students from Rensselaer Academy, Genet and Sackett will volunteer in the mission’s kitchen, serving lunch to recipients of their lunch program.
