Questar III is hosting its third annual Cruise-In

Questar III’s Columbia-Greene Educational Center in Hudson is hosting its third annual “Scholarship Benefit Cruise-In” from 5:30-8:30 p.m. on Friday, May 13. The event will feature classic cars along with a special buffet prepared by the school’s culinary arts program.

Admission is free to spectators. Car entries are only $5 (advanced registration is not required – please drive in). In addition to a buffet available for $10, there will also be other food items for sale, as well as event t-shirts. Local radio station Cruisin’ 93.5 will provide music and bring their prize wheel.

Automotive Technologies Teacher Ed Luther, who serves on the planning committee, said this event supports a worthy cause – Questar III career and technical education (CTE) students attending college.

“The Questar III Cruise-in Car show has been a great success. I look forward to spring and this event to raise money for our students. So come join us for good fun, great cars and awesome food,” said Luther.

Mark Rozniewski, another member of the planning committee, encourages the public to attend. “Sweet rides and delicious food is a great start to the weekend.  If it runs, drives, and you love it, show it,” said Rozniewski, who attended the automotive program at the Columbia-Greene Educational Center as a high school student and is now back as a teaching assistant in that program.

Located at 131 Union Turnpike (Route 66) in Hudson, Questar III’s Columbia-Greene Educational Center provides hands-on programs for high school students in Columbia and Greene counties.
