Questar III special education classes based at six different schools held their annual Thanksgiving feasts before the holiday break.
Students and staff at Catskill Academy, George Washington Academy, Goff Middle School, Red Mill Elementary School, Rensselaer Academy and Sackett Educational Center prepared dinner and desserts for hundreds of school staff and other invited guests at events held on Nov. 18, 19, 23 and 24.
The first dinner was established at Questar III nearly 40 years ago by now-retired teacher Carol Bluhm. Her daughters Emily (a teacher at Red Mill) and Chrissy (a TA at George Washington) now continue the tradition, which provides students with a chance to learn about the holiday and create decorations.
