What is your role here at Questar III, and where do you work?
Administrative Assistant, Rensselaer Academy
How long have you worked here?
Two years.
How do you see your role as supporting the BOCES and its school districts?
Organizing, prioritizing and managing RA’s day-to-day duties, needs and requirements.
What is your background like- previous jobs, education, etc.?
I worked as a TA in special education classrooms at Orange-Ulster BOCES and Questar III.
What do you like most about your job?
The people. I am a people person and very outgoing so I enjoy working closely with staff.
Tell us a bit about your life outside of Questar III.
Growing up my family loved and continues to love traveling, hiking and camping. We have so many wonderful memories on our vacations and weekend getaways!
*BONUS QUESTION* What is your favorite holiday memory or tradition growing up?
Christmas is my favorite holiday and every Christmas Eve my dad reads “’Twas the Night Before Christmas” to my brothers and me, even with the three of us in our 20s now. Traditions must stay alive!
