SED opened the IDEx portal for districts to be able to complete their ESSA financial report of actual expenditures for the 2020-21 school year. For the 2020-21 school year, the report is due December 31, 2021 (except for the Big 5). SED has posted instructions on their website.
We have once again developed an Excel template to assist districts in gathering their expenditures into the ESSA reporting format. The template and supporting PowerPoint are posted on our website under the “Resources”, then “Other” links across the top of the page. This template is password protected and is the same password that was used for the Transparency report. We will have a webinar on Tuesday, October 27th at 9:00 a.m. to provide an overview of how to use the Excel template to gather your district’s expenditures and to be able to report those costs in the format of the ESSA report requirements.
