Craig Hansen, Questar III’s director of health and safety, was designated as a Certified School Risk Manager (CRSM) by the National Alliance for Insurance Education and Research.
By completing the requirements to become a CRSM, Hansen has joined a select number of individuals who completed five courses and examinations and are committed to fulfilling annual update requirements to further their knowledge and maintain this designation.
CSRM was founded in 2004 and is the first educational/designation program in history for individuals serving as School Risk Managers. CSRM courses feature practical information that guides participants through the risk management process and applies directly to the school risk manager’s daily responsibilities.
Hansen has served as Questar III’s director of health and safety since October 2005. He oversees a wide array of services for public schools in Rensselaer, Columbia and Greene counties. He is also certified as a code enforcement official and trainer.
