Questar III’s communications efforts are once again being recognized.
The New York School Public Relations Association (NYSPRA) recently honored Questar III’s Communications Service for exemplary school communications in a variety of categories.
Questar III received seven statewide awards, including the association’s highest honor in three categories. The awards recognize the efforts of the service to help school districts and the BOCES communicate with the public.
The organization earned the award of excellence for its career and technical education marketing campaign, career and technical education brochure and Schodack’s budget newsletter. It also earned an award of merit for the District Superintendent Search Brochure, Lansingburgh Superintendent search brochure, Stakeholders Report and Questar III Calendar.
NYSPRA is a statewide group of professional school communicators. The group’s annual awards program, one of the largest in the country, is judged by communications, marketing, writing and PR professionals from across the country. Awards will be given out at the New York State School Board Association’s convention in Buffalo on October 28.
This is the second time this year Questar III’s Communications Service was honored for outstanding achievement in educational communications. In July, Questar III received 10 awards from the National School Public Relations Association in Maryland.
