On March 16, career and technical education (CTE) students from Rensselaer Educational Center and Columbia-Greene Educational Center competed at the SkillsUSA Area III Regional competition.
At a press conference this afternoon, the Governor announced the end of the mask mandate in schools, effective Wednesday, March 2.
Test kits will be sent home with students on February 16 unless you contact your child’s school to opt out by February 15.
This month, we celebrate the power of these hands-on programs as part of CTE Month, along with other observances including Black History, American Heart Month and President’s Day.
All schools and offices are closed tomorrow (February 4).
New guidance states that schools are no longer required to do contact tracing. However, we will continue to do a modified version of contact tracing of any positive cases within our school buildings out of an abundance.
