Questar III named a Top Workplace

Questar III BOCES was named one of the Capital Region’s Top Workplaces for 2017, according to a survey published in the Times Union on April 9. This is the third time the organization has earned this regional honor.

Sobol announces retirement

On March 9, the Questar III Board of Education accepted the resignation of Robin Sobol (for purposes of retirement), effective June 30, 2017. Sobol has served as the director of special education at Questar III since 2005. District Superintendent Dr. Gladys I. Cruz said the organization will miss Sobol’s leadership.

Literacy support at GWS

Reading is one of the most important skills children learn at an early age. However, for students with special needs, reading can also be among the most difficult skills to learn. Questar III has two reading resource teachers to help students who have trouble reading.
