The Region 4 Odyssey of the Mind Tournament for schools in Rensselaer, Columbia and Greene counties will be held March 8 at Rensselaer City School District. With 91 teams registered, the Questar III Odyssey presenters are looking for volunteers to lend a hand with everything from parking to merchandise sales.
If you are 18 or older, you are qualified to judge. Those interested in judging must attend training on one of the following dates:
Saturday, Jan. 25 at Shenendehowa High School East from 9 a.m.-1 p.m.
Wednesday, February 5 at Rensselaer City School District from 6 – 8 p.m.
For the fifth year in a row, a team from Averill Park Central School District has advanced to the Odyssey of the Mind world finals.
Questar III’s Arlene Sampson received the Friend of NYSOMA award in recognition of her contributions to the regional and state Odyssey of the Mind program over the past 10 years.
