Turning Army labs into classrooms

Students from Questar III’s New Visions: Science, Technology, Engineering and Technology (STEM) program helped turn Army laboratories at the Watervliet Arsenal into classrooms on April 25. The purpose of the visit was to give students a firsthand look at the role science and technology have in the development of military weapon systems.

High school seniors in Questar III’s New Visions: Scientific Research & World Health program held an Epidemiology Studies Public Health Poster Session at University of Albany’s School of Public Health located at its East Campus in Rensselaer.

On April 24, component school boards voted 21-1 to approve Questar III’s $4.2 million administrative budget for 2012-2013.
