Questar III is part of a six-member consortium led by the Capital Region BOCES that recently applied for a $6.25 million grant to radically change the structure and outcomes of three area high schools.
More than three dozen area teens are mixing semiconductors, nanotechnology and energy with fun this week at SEMI High Tech U, an exciting summer day camp offered by the Tech Valley Career Pathways Consortium in partnership with GlobalFoundries and Center for Economic Growth. Students are learning on-site at Hudson Valley Community College’s TEC-SMART campus in Malta, College of Nanoscale Science and Engineering at the University at Albany, and Schenectady County Community College.
