This afternoon, we were notified by the Rensselaer County Department of Health that a remote student in our Maple Hill program tested positive for COVID-19. This student has been remote since the beginning of the school year. As a result, there is no contact tracing or quarantining required in our school due to the student’s remote status.
All Questar III buildings and offices are closed today due to inclement weather.

Out of an abundance of caution and based upon the availability of staff, Rensselaer Academy will pivot to remote instruction through December 23.
There is no contact tracing required at school due to the student’s extended absence or any action required by students or staff.
At this time, all impacted students and staff who were identified as a close contact in these cases have been contacted and directed to quarantine.
