A few months ago students in Questar III’s classrooms at Maple Hill Middle School watched with curiosity as the rest of the school participated in a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) Day. They wanted their own day and on April 24 that’s exactly what they got.
On June 13, Questar III’s Rensselaer Academy held their 6th Annual Awards Ceremony to celebrate various student and staff achievements. In addition, four graduating students received their Certificates of Completion.
On April 12, after weeks of hard work and planning, the students in the Questar III Achieving Individual Milestones (AIM) at Ichabod Crane High School danced the night away at their very own prom at the Kinderhook Elks Lodge along with more than 60 other students.
For the last two weeks, students in Questar III’s Achieving Individual Milestones (AIM) program at Columbia High School in East Greenbush are venturing out and gaining real-world job experience in their community.
Based at the Sackett Educational Center in Schodack, Jane Govola helps students manage their challenges and find their strengths in preparation for college or a career. She is also a part-time team leader of clinicians – social workers and psychologists.
