The State Aid Office forwarded the 2019-20 & 2020-21 school year waiver approval listing, as per 8 CRR 175.5 (n) to State Aid Designees on March 16, 2021. This waiver covers shortfalls in instructional hours for the 2019-20 and/or 2020-21 school years due to the COVID-19 crisis or pursuant to Education Law §3604(7).
The State Aid Planners will be returning to full capacity at the main office starting April 5th.
On October 26, 2020, NYSED disseminated a memo containing instructions for applying to NYSED for GEER and ESSER funds. Eligible LEAs were asked to submit a single CARES Act Combined Funding Application (revised) for both ESSER and, if applicable, GEER, funding using SED’s Monitoring and Vendor Reporting System.
The due date for the MOE Calculator is March 31, 2021.
