The recently posted 2017-18 Public Excess Cost Aid (PUB) Output Report (based on STACs for the 2016-17 enrollment year) switched from using approved STAC data to verified and locked STAC data as of July 11th.
The NYSED Medicaid in Education Unit released an announcement July 6, 2018 that districts that participated in the 2013-14, 2014-15 and 2015-16 cost settlement processes will be eligible to share in 13.05% of the net Certification of Public Expenditures (CPE) cost settlement for the period April 1, 2015 – June 30, 2015 and for the entire 2015-16 cost settlement period.
Section 912 of the Education Law requires public school districts to provide students who attend nonpublic schools located within the boundaries of the school district the same health and welfare services that are available to students attending the public schools of the district when such services are requested by nonpublic schools.

NYSED is prohibited by law as well as the rules and regulations of the Commissioner from certifying State Aid payments to districts against any claims which are submitted after one year from the end of the school year in which the aid is first paid or becomes payable.
