Session Prior to September 1st
The following has been posted to the State Aid website under Latest News: Education Law §3205(1)(c) provides that students are required to attend full time instruction beginning with the first day of September in which school is in session. Instruction provided before students are required to attend cannot be counted towards the instructional minimum requirement of 180-days.
2021-22 Claims Forms Are Now Available in SAMS
2021-22 Claim Forms are now available in SAMS. The initial submission of the Claim Forms is due Thursday, September 2, 2021 per EL §3601.
Attorney Reporting Due August 14th
Annual reporting of the names and amounts paid to attorneys that were engaged by the district are due 45 days after the year-end.

American Rescue Plan (ARP) Application Due August 31st
The application for Part II of the American Rescue Plan is available on the NYS Business Portal and is due August 31, 2021, but extensions are permitted upon request.
2021-22 Transparency Reporting Due September 3rd
The DOB Transparency Report for the 21-22 budget information is due September 3, 2021. In July we held a webinar that reviewed the new changes to the report and reviewed the revised Excel template that we developed to assist our districts in completing the Transparency Report.
School Age Payment Reports (APRs) Available
The NYSED STAC and Medicaid Unit processed 23 APRs that are now available for export to school district shared folders on the SED File Transfer (FTM) via the DQPAY screen.
