SED Guidance on Extending School Age Services to Age 23
The NYS Education Department released guidance on extending school age services to age 23.
Notification of COVID-19 Positive
We were notified today that a staff member at the Sackett Educational Center tested positive for COVID-19. The staff member was last on campus on July 30th. Based on the circumstances of this case, there is no need for contact tracing at school.
New Payment Reports Available to Export to SED File Transfer Manager (FTM)
The NYSED STAC and Medicaid Unit has processed 23 Approved Payment Reports (APRs) that are now available for export to school district shared folders on the SED FTM via the DQPAY screen.
EFH404 Report – 20% Verified Chargeback Listings
The STAC and Medicaid recently mailed one, two or three ‘20% Verified Chargeback Listings’ for the summers 2016, 2017 and/or 2018 which were all run on 7/14/21.
Attorney Reporting Due August 14th
Annual reporting of the names and amounts paid to attorneys that were engaged by the district are due 45 days after the year-end.
School Tax Rates
Please remember to submit school tax rate information to Department of Taxation and Finance.

2021-22 Transparency Reporting Due September 3rd
The DOB Transparency Report for the 21-22 budget information is due September 3, 2021. In July we held a webinar that reviewed the new changes to the report and reviewed the revised Excel template that we developed to assist our districts in completing the Transparency Report.
