Notification of positive COVID-19 case

This afternoon, we were notified by the Rensselaer County Department of Health that a remote student in our Maple Hill program tested positive for COVID-19. This student has been remote since the beginning of the school year.  As a result, there is no contact tracing or quarantining required in our school due to the student’s remote status.

This is the final countdown until ESSA is due. A few months ago, SED opened the IDEx portal for districts to be able to complete their ESSA financial report of actual expenditures for the 2019-20 school year.

If you receive a message from the State Aid Unit at SED about your 2020-21 Claim Forms, please keep in mind that it could be a matter of great importance in allowing the State Aid Unit to “Clean” your claim forms.

2020-21 Reverification/Suspension of STAC Online Users

SED released a memo in November 2020 that was mailed to School District Superintendents reminding them of their responsibility to monitor and ensure that only appropriate users at the school district have access to confidential student information in the STAC Online system.
