Final Building Aid Statewide Average Interest Rate
SED recently posted the final statewide average interest rate for Building Aid. The rate, which is based on debt incurred by districts between 7/1/16 and 6/30/17, is 2%.

Safe Schools Data Due October 15th
REMINDER: Safe Schools data for your district must be submitted to SED by October 15th.
Independent Audit is Due October 15th
Since the deadline falls on a Sunday this school year, audited financial statements may be submitted the next business day which is October 16th.
New Final Submission Forms Workbook
Facilities Planning has posted an updated a Final Submissions Forms Workbook and asks that any new projects submitted to their office for review and approval use the latest versions of all final submission forms.
Interest Rate Information: Building Aid & Transportation Capital
SED posted guidance on the interest rate reduction for assumed amortization for projects that began in 2007-08 or earlier and impact 2017-18 Building Aid.
